A Melon Sandbox template is not one documented publisher file format. In the reviewed community material it can mean a drawing base, an image for the clothes editor, or a character mod such as a Sonic-style skin. The file type determines the next step; a PNG is not an installable character mod.

- Open the editor on a 30.0 or later build.
- Upload your picture. A community video shows collider and clothing sliders.
- Set the grab point if the item should be held.
- The video demonstrates clothing setup, not a universal image specification. No supported pixel size or smaller-PNG fix is established by the reviewed sources.
Questions people ask
Where do I download the official template?
No publisher template download or dedicated template format was found in the reviewed sources. Pixel bases on art sites are player drawings. A picture and an installable .melmod are different kinds of file.
What is a Sonic.exe template?
Search results point at Workshop characters and pixel bases, not a menu called Templates. Those characters are player works. This site does not host them.
How do I use a shirt template?
Update 30.0 added clothes in the editor: upload a picture, set a collider, clothing parameters, and a grab point. A shirt PNG from an art site is only a starting image. I do not have an official pixel size.
