Install Melon Sandbox mods on iOS
Last checked 2026-10-29 · melon sandbox mods ios
I read the community wiki Mods page and the shorter FAQ, then checked that both describe the same iOS share action. Apple Lookup only confirms the app version (38.666.2 on 26 Oct 2026). It does not document mods. Treat the list below as community instructions.
Before you start
- The file should be a .melmod (item or character) or a .melsave (scene). A zip needs to be uncompressed in Files first.
- Update Melon Sandbox from the App Store so you are on 38.666.2 or newer.
- This page does not host the file. Get it from the Workshop or a creator you already trust.
Steps the wiki and player videos agree on
- Download the file, then open the Files app.
- If it is a zip, long-press and uncompress it.
- Long-press the .melmod or .melsave and tap Share.
- Choose Melon Sandbox, then Add, or Add and Exit.
- Open any map and look under Saves or Mods. Restart if the new item is missing.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between Add and Add and Exit?
The community wiki says Add imports the file and leaves you in the share flow. Add and Exit imports it and restarts the game. Either can work. If the item is missing, restart once yourself.
Which iOS version do I need?
Apple Lookup on 29 Oct 2026 listed Melon Sandbox 38.666.2 and a minimum of iOS 15.0. The share-sheet wording can change on newer iOS releases. I do not have an Apple document for this game's share sheet.
Why is there no official iOS install page?
I could not find a DUCKY or Apple help article for .melmod import. The steps below are from the community wiki, cross-checked against player videos, not from a publisher manual.
