I cross-checked the community Gift Box page, the 37.0 version page, and the 16 Aug 2026 FN GamingYT video. They describe eight methods, while the second video agrees on the count. I have not found an official patch-note page that reprints the table, so the methods and rewards remain a community list rather than publisher-confirmed instructions.

Method and reward. Names follow the wiki. Sticky Gun versus Sticky Launcher is unresolved.

If a method does nothing, compare the box and tool names with the linked community pages; the reviewed sources do not provide an official troubleshooting sequence or guarantee that every method works in every current build. A fourth "map gift box" you have to break is a different, older search. The chainsaw, glue staff, rocket, and cake are described as items, not map pins.

Questions people ask

Are there 6 gift boxes or 8?

Eight. Update 37.0 added a Gifts category. The wiki and two August 2026 videos list eight opening methods and eight rewards. Older "gift box 1 to 6" pages are out of date.

Are they hidden on the map?

No. The gift box is an item you spawn from the Gifts category. Search pages that say "where is gift box 4" are using the wrong model.

What happens after all eight?

The wiki says the box leaves the item menu. A saved box shows 0 and cannot be opened again. I did not find a publisher note that confirms the zero.

Sticky Gun or Sticky Launcher?

The 37.0 patch summary on the wiki says Sticky Gun. The gift-box page says Sticky Launcher. I am keeping both names.
